Recently I was talking to a sub friend about what it was that I most enjoyed about D/s, and I realized that the moments that I felt were the strongest were those where the sub had reached a moment of catharsis.

I think most doms and subs can relate to that moment, when she's been restrained, touched, caressed, spanked, flogged, when she's cum four, five or six times in a row and all her feelings have come out- that moment when there's nothing left but rawness and emotion, and a tear or two comes down her cheek, when her eyes are wet and her pupils are dilated and she looks into your eyes. You undo the restraints and there you both are, embracing.

That, to me, is the most powerful moment in D/s.
